Cat Allergies

So it seems that Princess Flower is allergic to the cats or at least sensitive to them. We have had them in her room. We noticed her eyes getting really swollen and itchy so I had her sleep in the guest room for two nights. Her eyes cleared up. To further test things out she slept in her own room again last night and woke up this morning and looked horrible. So we are now trying to figure out where to relocate the cats. We didn't buy a house that had a lot of extra space for a litter box to be place so this is an interesting situation. We are contemplating the garage for now because it is still pretty warm. Not sure what we will do when winter really sets in.

On another note the cats think Lexi is a toy now. They aren't afraid of her anymore. Lexi isn't afraid of them which poses quite a problem when they are trying to carry her away in their mouths. I don't know that the sellers of the sugar gliders were thinking when they said that cats won't try to eat them. So now we have to keep the cats away from Lexi if she is out of her cage.

Surprise

I was thinking during the summer while packing up and getting ready to move how I was going to miss all of PF's friends in the area. Some of them were moving as well but I knew some of them would still be there. PF also missed her friends. So as a surprise for her, I arranged a party with her friends. While she was at the campground with her daddy, I went and picked up her friends and some other things.

We took advantage of the few minutes without rain to run around outside and fly a kite. The colors were so pretty that I had to get a picture.

Her first webkinz. I hope she doesn't think she will be on the computer all the time. But it might be a good incentive for her to get her work done.

What party would be complete without some CFA!
Daddy surprised her with a fairy cake.

She was so happy to see her friends. They didn't want to part and ended up spending the night.

Princess Flower is 9

I can't believe another year has past and now my oldest is 9. The years are going much too fast! She is blooming fast into a beautiful young lady and it is a pleasure to guide and direct her.

Copy Cat

I am sure all of my babies have copied their older sisters but I have noticed it so much more with Dragonfly. She will copy EVERYTHING that ladybug does. Well apparently she copies everyone else too.

Creativity

Dragonfly is much like her sisters in that they all have such creativity. She has decided it is much more fun to jump on the rebounder while sitting in a squishy chair.

Max and Dakota

We have BOYS!

On Wednesday, we went to the farm on a field trip. It was an awesome experience. They had many animals to pet and many little kittens. The girls of coarse fell in love immediately. Hubby and I had just recently talked about pets and that we weren't sure we were ready yet. So when PF insisted she would use all her birthday money to pay for everything the kittens needs....I told her she needed her father's permission. I was pretty confident the answer would be no and I was preparing myself to handle the tears that would soon come. Well much to my surprise Daddy said YES! I called him back to confirm. So.......

We came home with two boy kittens. Yes I know we went from one to two. Well, I think everyone to have a buddy and I know kittens do so much better when they have another little kitten there with them especially from the same litter. Well I couldn't tell Ladybug no when PF got a yes so we came home with two.

We went by the pet store first and purchased all the essentials.

I am not sure there will be two boys that will be loved more than these two. PF named hers Dakota after her favorite cat that Grammy and Papa used to have and Ladybug named hers Max because Max is a boy's name.
PS. If you are worried about the sugar glider.....don't be.....Lexi made she the boys knew that she was boss and they are scared of her.

Mike's Farm

We enjoyed a great Family Style Country dinner tonight at Mike's farm with some friends. The banana pudding was a big hit!

We didn't get to go on the hayride or pick pumpkins because the line was way too long but they did have a spot set up for pictures.

Mumfest

We have so many festivals around where we are living now. I love festivals and the girls have been enjoying them too.

The Mumfest had boats to checkout. Hubby enjoyed this alot.

The hardware store downtown had awesome potted Mums.

This was one of the dresses I got for the girls at the festival.

PF first 5K

I have been wanting to get PF into running for awhile. It was one of my goals to start running races together. I chose the Mumfest 5K for our first. It ended up being a cold morning so PF added another shirt before the start of the race.

She had tears in her eyes as she crossed the finish line. I held her hand until she got close to the finish. Everyone was clapping and cheering her on.

But when they handed her a medal and a pot of Mums she was all smiles.
We are hoping to do the Turkey Trot on base next month.

Backyard Adventure

I sent the girls on a backyard adventure. They came up with their own necessities.....umbrellas, backpacks and summer hats. They found lizards and PF has gotten pretty good at catching them. It was fun watching them parade around the backyard in search of tiny creatures.

September

Alot has been going on so I haven't had alot of time to wait on pics to upload on blogger so I thought I would throw together a quick Sept. update for those of you who aren't on Facebook.

For LAbor day, we went to the family lake house. Everybody was there for the first time since 2004. We of course got the cousin picture. It is really sweet to see them all growing together. It would be nice to all live closer to see each other more often but we do the best that we can. It was nice to have a few weeks home in ATL to spend with family.

Butterfly started Kindergarten at the elementary school next to the house. She has been loving it and has only had one bad day. (This had alot to do with the bus route being switched on her and she thought the bus driver forgot to take her home) She saw the ortho doc this week and her collar bone is healing fine and we are done with the brace!!!!! Praise the Lord!!!!!!

The girls have been making due and entertaining themselves with limited things but a new backyard to explore. I did bring our traveling hammock and we happened to have two trees to put it up.

PF and Ladybug started swim lessons this week. PF is in level 4 and Ladybug has been moved to level 1 after the first night because all of the level 2 kids were twice her size. She is doing extremely well. PF is loving being taught how to dive. The pool they are at is awesome and HUGE. It is open quite a bit during the week for family swim so we will be going to the pool often even after lessons.

Ladybug has been determined to ride a bike. She has fallen many times but keeps getting back up. She can now start the bike on her own without a push.
These are just some highlights of the girls. I hope to get more regular again after unpacking boxes.

Hollywood Studios

This was one of my favorite days. Everything we did here was alot of fun.

The girls loved the Honey I Shunk The Kids playground.

The toy story ride was awesome and because of fast past we rode it twice.

Playhouse Disney was a fun show.

Instead of a parade they have a block party which was alot of fun too.

Epcot

We picked Epcot for day three because we knew it wasn't going to rain during the day and most of what we wanted to do there was outside.

China was the number one country we had to visit. PF is studying mandarin and I wanted her to have some kind of conversation with someone there. She got really shy but did manage to say hello, thank you and good-bye. The lady she spoke to commented that her accent was right on and she should certainly keep working on the language.

We watched a funny act in Italy.

Japanese story telling and candy making.

PF choose a panda bear for the lady to make.

PF and LAdybug made masks while Butterfly and I went on Soarin....she loved this ride. It felt like you were flying.

There are man areas to park your strollers. One lady left her diaper bag open and a squirrel was getting into her trail mix. We help her out by zipping up the diaper bag but after a picture.

The sun was bright...should have given the girls sunglasses too.

Dragonfly loved all of the fish and ran from one tank to the next.

WE really had fun at Epcot especially visiting all the countries. Where in the world can you eat French pastries while sitting in Italy and planning to watch Chinese acrobats preform in a few minutes.
My husband and dad were suppose to be on this trip with us but both of their jobs prevented that. So we got them on speaker phone while mom and I were playing a game that night so we felt like they were there too.
