With the main subjects of school completed for PF we now have more time to do other more fun activities. We have been working on a Mom and Me devotional this year but have yet to be able to do a tea party which comes at the end of each chapter. We finally got the chance and we were so excited about it. Yes we were missing one. We had a purple theme going and all dressed in something purple as you may have noticed from the picture.
PF worked hard all morning getting ready for our afternoon tea. She sewed hems on napkins and decorated a tablecloth.
We bought flowers for the center piece a few days before and they were almost dead by the tea. We punched out paper flowers for confetti and took out the princess tea set. I made chocolate covered strawberries and we enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie bar that PF made the day before.
Ladybug wanted to make sure that even though it was a tea party that she could have coffee instead. Everytime I talked about the tea party she would say, "I don't want tea, I want coffee" I kept telling her that it was just called a tea party and that she could have coffee.
PF enjoyed cinnamon apple tea with cream....she loved it!
Dragonfly was all over the chocolate covered strawberries....can you tell!
We had alot of fun!
We wrote love letters to each other the day before and gave them to each other at the tea. I loved reading the precious words of PF.
